OFFICERSÂ are appealing for information after a spate of thefts where items had been taken from vehicles in Basingstoke.
In the past seven days, police have received six separate reports where vehicles have been broken into and various items stolen.
The incidents have taken place in the South Ham, Buckskin, Winklebury and Rooksdown area.
Officers are advising motorists to not leave anything on display in their vehicles, to take all personal possessions with them and remove sat nav holders and visible sat nav ring marks from windscreens.
If anyone has any information regarding these thefts or has been a victim of a vehicle theft they should contact the police on 101.
