A FAST food outlet has lodged plans to expand its drive through facility.
McDonalds, in Brighton Hill Retail Park, has applied for planning permission to reconfigure its drive through facility to have two lanes for customers to be able to order their choices, rather than the current one, and refurbish its roof.
The fast food outlet is hoping to to install another lane, therefore enabling side-by-side ordering.
This would also see the installation of a new 1.8m high fence, two customer order displays and a new vehicle height restrictor. McDonalds is also proposing to add a new hangover to its roof.
The proposal is similar to one which McDonalds submitted in April of this year, which was withdrawn after it was discovered the application expended beyond the site and onto the highway.
The application is due to be decided on by Monday, 2 October.
