A MAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after falling from the second floor of Festival Place car park this afternoon.
The 40-year-old man landed on his feet, sustaining serious lower leg injuries to both of his limbs.
Police and South Central Ambulance Services (SCAS) were called to the Basingstoke Bus Station, at Festival Place, at approximately 12.15pm today (Wednesday November 16).
SCAC sent a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and the Enhanced Care Response Unit to the scene, where the man was said to be conscious and breathing after the fall.
He was taken to Basingstoke hospital, with his condition described as serious, but stable.
Basingstoke Bus Station was cordoned off whilst the emergency services dealt with the incident.
