A BASINGSTOKE supermarket has closed due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.
Asda, in Brighton Hill, has shut its doors to customers this evening, believed to be because of flooding.
A sign posted outside the supermarket says the closure is due to 'unforeseen circumstances' but staff could be seen inside pumping out water.
The town experienced heavy rain earlier this evening, along with thunder and lightning.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning covering Basingstoke, advising people to be aware of possible localised flooding and disruption to travel.
