NEWBURY Dramatic Society will perform its new production tomorrow night.
The production of Oh! What the Dickens! will take place from 7pm tomorrow at Kingsclere Community Library, in George Street, and the proceeds made on the night will benefit the library, which has been run by volunteers since April.
Funds are needed to pay for the rent, utilities and other expenses to keep the library doors open to the community, with the library also serving surrounding villages including Ecchinswell, Headley and Hannington.
Nicki Lee, of the volunteer coordinators at the library, said: “We are so grateful to the Newbury Dramatic Society for putting this show on to help support us.
“Young people studying Dickens, as well as adults who enjoy his work should find this a very entertaining evening.”
Tickets are priced at £12 per person, which will include a glass of wine and refreshments, and £2 for children under the age of 10. Tickets are available from the library or online at ticketsource.co.uk/nds.
