FIREFIGHTERS had to rescue a car which became stuck in Headley ford last night.
Eighteen firefighters from Basingstoke, Kingsclere and Newbury fire stations were called at 7.44pm last night to reports of a woman and a young child stuck in their car in Headley ford last night.
Two fire engines and a special equipment vehicle attended the scene for 30 minutes and freed the woman and the child before crews used a wrench to free the car.
No medical attention was needed for the woman and child freed from the car.
