CHURCHES and the public across the Diocese of Winchester have been thanked by Christian Aid for donating more than £14,000 to the charity’s Ebola Crisis Appeal.
The contribution makes up over a quarter of all the donations received in the charity’s south west region.
The Venerable Paul Moore, archdeacon for mission development at the Diocese of Winchester, said: “I’m very proud of the contribution that churches and the public across the Diocese have made to this appeal.”
