BASINGSTOKE Delivery Office is set to open on Sundays to ease the pressures of the Christmas rush.
The delivery office, in Priestly Road, will open this Sunday and next Sunday between 10am and 2pm to for customers picking up Christmas mail and parcels.
Geoff Braden, operations director at Royal Mail, said: "We are continuing to be more customer responsive and provide more options for people to receive items they have ordered online, especially at our busiest time of the year.
"We hope it provides a helping hand for customers during the very busy festive season.
"Customers can also help us by posting early and by the recommended posting dates and using the postcode on all mail they are posting."
The recommended UK last posting dates are Thursday, December 18 for second class, Saturday, December 20 for first class and Tuesday, December 23, for special delivery guaranteed.
