IT could be lucky 13 for Centerprise International which has high hopes in scooping two top honours after being shortlisted for national and regional awards which will be announced on the same day.

The IT reseller and services provider is a finalist in the Reseller of the Year category in the CRN Channel Awards after making it onto a shortlist of just five companies.

The CRN Awards are considered the top honour for resellers and distributors working in the world of IT.

Centerprise, which is based on Hampshire International Business Park, in Chineham, is to make a presentation to the awards judges and will find out if the company has won during an awards ceremony at Battersea Park Events Arena in London on Thursday, November 13.

Centerprise is also in the running for a top regional award, having been shortlisted in the Business of the Year category of the INSPIRE14 Business Awards, which celebrate the very best of business in north Hampshire.

Centerprise is down to the last three firms in the category after the first round of judging was completed, and will find out the result at an awards ceremony to be held at the Highfield Park Hotel in Heckfield, near Hook – also on November 13.

Centerprise International group marketing and communications director Richard Austin, said: “It’s a bit of a diary clash but we’re hoping 13 will turn out to be a lucky number for us.

“To be shortlisted for these two awards is a great achievement and shows that Centerprise is leading the way both regionally and nationally in our areas of expertise.”

The nominations are the latest in a string of successes for Centerprise, which earlier this year won two contracts with The Treasury – one for media and wireless systems and one for printing services.

It has also launched an industry-leading video conferencing service, called Mix Connect, which offers unrivalled clarity and security to business users.

Centerprise International, established more than 30 years ago, is one of the largest and most respected IT providers in the UK and has an enviable reputation for delivering large-scale IT projects and managed services in the corporate, education.
