MOTORISTS in Basingstoke will be able to stock up on food from Marks & Spencer once construction work on a garage is completed.
As previously reported by The Gazette, a three-month improvement project is currently being carried out at the BP garage, in The Harrow Way.
And BP, which owns the garage, has decided to create a partnership which will see the Marks & Spencer Simply Food range sold at the garage.
A spokeswoman for BP said: “The new store format and exciting introduction of the M&S Simply Food range means we have been able to create a number of new jobs for people in the local area.”
The garage, which is open between 6am and 10pm, will re-open on December 3.
