A GROUP of Level 3 Beauty students held a fundraising event at the college to support a variety of charities.
Students offered visitors a range of treatments for £3, which included mini manicures, Indian head massages, and waxing.
They also offered home-made cakes and treats so clients could really enjoy the session and feel thoroughly pampered.
The charities the students chose to support included Naomi House Hospice, Help for Heroes, Clic Sargent, Cancer Research UK and St Michael’s Hospice.
They raised in excess of £180, which they were delighted with.
Course tutor Heidi Reid said: “I am so proud of the students – they worked really hard to ensure the event was a success.
“They were determined to raise as much money as possible and they certainly achieved this.
“We are now looking forward to sending the money off and making a contribution to these amazing charities and the people they help.”
