TWO young men from London have been arrested after a drugs operation in Oakridge.
Officers stopped a 19-year-old man from London in Norn Hill on Tuesday and arrested him.
A warrant was also carried out at a house in Bennet Close, where officers seized a suspected Class A drugs and arrested an 18-year-old man from London.
Both men, arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, have been bailed pending further enquiries until July 16.
Police said the arrest followed patrols in the Oakridge and South View areas of Basingstoke as part of Operation Fortress, Hampshire Constabulary’s campaign targeting the supply of illegal drugs and associated violence.
