PLANS for a new fire station in Basingstoke are to be showcased next week.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service will present plans for the new station at Basingstoke at a public information evening next Thursday.
The service is proposing to rebuild the current station on its current site at West Ham Close.
Basingstoke residents are invited to view the plans and ask questions about the project at the station between 6pm and 8pm.
Group manager Brian Rudman said: "A new station will be an investment in the future of Basingstoke, providing improved facilities for both firefighters and the public."
