A COUNCILLOR who criticised a bus service for failing to turn up one evening has clarified that she was not referring to the number 74 run by Basingstoke Community Transport (BCT).
As previously reported in The Gazette, during a discussion about problems with timekeeping of the number 74 service, Councillor Lucy Sloane Williams told Overton Parish Council that a bus had not turned up one evening when her friend was waiting for it.
However, she clarified at the latest council meeting that her comments were in fact referring to the number 76 bus.
