AWE has been praised by Basingstoke Consortium for its work with local schools and students.
The Atomic Weapons Establisment has been commended for its work in encouraging young people to consider careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
Over the last 12 months, the organisation has supported more than 4,500 youngsters through its work with Basingstoke Consortium.
Philippa Kent, chair of the AWE schools liaison committee, said:βIn the next year, the Consortium and AWE are looking forward to exploring how this partnership could develop even further.β
