PROTEUS Creation Space is to showcase Milestone, an exhibition featuring Hungarian photographer Agnes Forrai, this month.
Her work will be on display in the Council Road premises from November 24 until December 6.
Agnes currently lives and takes pictures locally, and one of her photographs was featured in The Best of Basingstoke 2012 art exhibition in the building when it was known as Fairfields Arts Centre.
Agnes commented: “The exhibition Milestone is the result of the past few years’ work, a taster of the surroundings where I live, snapshots of London, of the little streets of Basingstoke, its events, its everyday life and the colourful and interesting world that is around us.
“Photography for me is pain, beauty and freedom. I feel like I'm in a different world, I forget my everyday troubles, I immerse in nature and in the human world.
“I love it when my pictures inspire thoughts and touch people.”
