SOUTH West Trains has provided further information about rail travel to London for the marathon on Sunday.
Emma Knight, group head of media and public affairs, said some services from Basingstoke into Waterloo will not be affected and should be able to run into the station without disruption from the engineering works.
She said the shuttle buses from Wimbledon and Clapham Junction are not replacement services but additional services if people want to avoid disruption on London lines.
However the trains from Exeter through Basingstoke will be terminating at Woking for much of the day. Two services have definitely been cancelled. These are the 13.50 Basingstoke to Waterloo train and the 15.37 Waterloo to Basingstoke train.
Ms Knight said: βIt is best if people consult our website before travelling.β The website is www.southwesttrains.co.uk
