TWO new homes have been proposed at an alleged Silchester fly tipping black-spot.
Developer Sytecourt Ltd is seeking to build two, three bedroom semi-detached houses where Lovegrove Garages used to be on Silchester Common.
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council's development control committee will consider the application tonight.
The proposals have been met with 11 letters of objection, and two of support.
In a planning statement the developer said: “The site is now open and is being illegally used by neighbours for parking and tipping which is causing major problems locally.”
Objectors say the site, which has planning permission for “live/work” units, should not be converted to residential buildings.
