Stan EMERY

Stan and I became friends at the Sherborne St John Social Club and through our mutual love of music from Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and many others, we became friends. Had some great nights and fantastic conversations with this wonderful human being and I will miss him dearly. In the words of his favourite bands, on your next journey my friend 'Shine on you crazy diamond, on your 'Stairway to heaven'

From the beginning you have always made me feel welcome in the family sharing your amazing stories of London, drumming and all the amazing things you have done in your life. You are an amazing man, dad, grandad and great grandad, I’m sorry we weren’t around but you will always be a well known name in our house and Daisy, Reggie and Ashlea will definitely know about their crazy great grandad ❤️

I was very young when I first met Stan. Him and my Dad were part of the Pavilion Theatre Group, and I used to go along to rehearsals at the theatre. He was always so nice to me. I saw him in town last year and reminded him of those times and he remembered me.

To my grandad, I’m sorry I wasn’t around the last few years but I will miss you and love you very much

Dad my hero!!! my heart breaks that you are no longer here and I will miss you everyday. You were truly a great man, the best dad that anyone could wish for. Dad you were a great grandad also and the kids love and miss you. Who is gonna now keep me updated on the news that I need to know?and send me music clips and take me on tours round London. I honestly could not thank you enough for how you looked after us all and what an honour it was to be looking after you and sitting with you all night just to be there and help when you needed it. I will cherish the last month we had together especially the last weekend with Dave Ashley Vicki and me all in the room with you , and you making Dave get you ice cream and cups of tea…Sip of tea Dave.!! And on your final day, we were all there ,Dave Evans, Summer Evans ,Ashley Emery ,Vicki Emery, Jenny Jenkins, Dean Emery, Lisa Izzet , Aaron Emery, Ellie Emery, George O’Brien, Jaimie Tomkins chatting about old times and telling you how great a man you are because you were the best . We all love you dearly and always will have fond memories of you , you will never die in our hearts and minds and we will see you again one day. I love you Daddy always and forever Angela
