KINDER (Lance) Lancelot Ivan Carlyle Passed away peacefully on Thursday 14th December 2023, aged 88 years. Lance will be dearly missed by his wife Jacqui, sons Neil and Darren, family and friends. Lance Kinder was one of the longest standing members of the Beechdown Club, having joined in 1982 and was still an active member right up to his sad, unexpected passing in December.
Lance represented Beechdown Squash at various levels and was a member of the first team which won the Hampshire Premier League in 1994. He represented England 72 times in the home internationals and only lost once! He captained his country on 58 occasions.
Lance was a multiple World and British Squash Champion, his most recent achievement was becoming British Over 80’s Champion in 2018.
He will be missed, not only by his many friends at Beechdown, but throughout the worldwide squash family.
