MORE than 35 musicians will take to the stage representing Hampshire Constabulary.
The Basingstoke Lions Club has teamed up with the police band from Hampshire Constabulary for a night of music.
Held at Queen Mary’s College, this is a unique opportunity to see the band, who usually tour the world, a little closer to home.
This year the band will be appearing under the guidance of the Director of Music, Greg Walker BA (Hons) who came to his new post in September.
The evening’s entertainment will include a wide range of popular pieces from light classics/ military to show and film scores.
The concert will take place on October 13 and is the first of two concerts the Basingstoke Lions Club will host at the college this year.
Tickets cost £12 are now available from Maurice Hockley on 01256 421867, John Lincoln on 01256 325280 or from Toucan Travel at Chineham Shopping Centre. They can also be purchased using a credit/debit card through The Lions website
