MUSIC lovers will be able to relieve the hits of The Shadows.

The Bootleg Shadows will be heading to the Haymarket on Friday, 21 September providing a night of foot-tapping entertainment.

With the Shadows barely making any live performances nowadays, the Bootleg Shadows pick up the slack and help carry on the band's legacy.

Along with an illustrious career in their own right the Shadows were also known for being Cliff Richards backing band, therefore the Bootleg Shadows will play a host of Cliff’s songs as well.

As well as a great night of music, the performance also guarantees plenty of humour to make it a night out to remember.

The Gazette has teamed up with Anvil Arts to give away two pairs of tickets to the show.

To be in with a chance all you have to do is answer this simple question. Who did the Shadows play as a backing band for? Is it A) Shakin' Stevens B) John Lennon or C) Cliff Richard.

Send your answer to tim.birkbeck@ basingstokegazette.co.uk by midnight on Sunday, 16 September.

All entrants must supply their full name and contact details, normal Newsquest terms and conditions apply.
