GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award-winner and US folk sensation Tom Paxton returns to The Haymarket on Sunday, for another fantastic tour, only this time, Tom is accompanied by very special guests, Grammy-winning singer/songwriter duo The DonJuans, Don Henry and Jon Vezner.

Collectively, their songs have been covered by industry stars such as Neil Diamond, Ray Charles, Nancy Griffith, John Denver and Bob Dylan, just to name a few.

Their on-stage atmosphere and collaborative dynamic was obvious from the very first days of music production together, and has since then only grown.

Affectionately known as ‘The Guvnors’, The Barron Knights are back at The Haymarket by popular demand on Friday, 27 April for their Last and Final Joust.

Masters of musical comedy parody, they are probably one of the most entertaining groups to come out of the 1960s and 1970s.

You can expect to hear lots of new material as well as old favourites like Call Up the Groups, as well as the band’s inimitable version of The William Tell Overture and their Flamenco party piece, Malaguana.

The following day, The Haymarket welcomes Rod Campbell’s timeless children’s book, Dear Zoo which is making its stage premiere and runs until April 29.

Having delighted generations of young readers since it was first published in 1982, and has sold more than eight million copies worldwide.

Ben and his friend Sally as they wait to see what the Zoo will send when they get Ben’s letter asking for a pet. All kinds of familiar animals both big and small arrive but what will make the perfect domestic companion?

This production will delight all those who have read the book, both young and old, as it unfolds with child-engaging puppets, music and lots of audience interaction.
