BASINGSTOKE soul singer Natasha Watts has achieved a lifetime ambition of performing on the stage of Royal Albert Hall.

This dream was achieved when she supported legendary performer Gladys Knight during the latter’s seven night UK tour.

Natasha commented: “It was an awesome experience. To realise this dream and be on the same bill as the legendary Gladys was just amazing. I was on cloud nine!”

Natasha mainly performs soul and soulful house music.

She exploded on to the UK soul scene with Show Me after her first collaboration with Cool Million, and rapidly followed up with the 2012 summer smash Back 2 U with producer Ric Atari.

Two days after her Royal Albert Hall appearance, the former student of The Vyne participated in another memorable evening when she supported boyband Blue at Plush in Basingstoke.

Her recent gigs have also included a supporting slot for disco legends Shalamar.

Natasha, who released a successful solo album last year, remarked: “The last few weeks have been some of the best of my life. I love what I’m doing, and I’m looking forward to achieving more career milestones in the future.”
