A HAMPSHIRE guitarist is to join The Tenors on stage at The Anvil on Sunday.
Daryl Kellie was born in Basingstoke and then moved to Alton, where he attended Amery Hill school. He often busked in Basingstoke while honing his trade.
Self-taught for most of his life, his influences range from Queen to Django Reinhardt. Daryl released his album Wintersong in February.
He met the award-winning vocal quartet The Tenors on Gaby Roslin’s BBC Radio London show, and they invited him to join them on stage.
The Tenors’ music is an exciting blend of classical and contemporary pop that is thrilling audiences of all ages around the world.
The music of Clifton Murray, Victor Micallef, Remigio Pereira and Fraser Walters is rich and soulful with powerful anthems and beautiful melodies, sung not only in English and French, but also in Spanish and Italian, reflecting their multicultural heritage.
