Although work mode has just settled back in for the new year, there I still time to see some exciting upcoming performances.

The Lions Club, Basingstoke, have organized some show stopping performances for the year containing dancing and singing to some well-known sons.

Easing families into the new year is the astounding 17- piece orchestra, Apollo Big Band. The successful swing band will have you up on your feet to the sounds of Glen Miller on 15 February. But they are not the only performance that will get you up and about.

The tribute band, ABBA Sensation have come to perform some of the bands classic songs. From S.O.S to Mamma Mia, ABBA Sensation will be one of the many acts to let you be a dancing queen.

With a beautifully trained voice, Katya Gorrie heads the 4 -person jazz band The Moscow Drug Club. The band combines their own original material with songs from the likes of Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen and Jacques Brel.

There will be the opportunity to catch another exciting act who go by the name of The Ali Mak Band. The band have been in the London jazz scene or many years and are now due to play on 21 September at The Lions Club.
