LOCAL performers will take to the stage of The Anvil on Saturday, October 4 for the Basingstoke Variety Show in aid of the Mayor’s Charity Appeal.
This showcase of talent from across the borough will cover performances of music, dance and theatre, from JG Dance, Basingstoke Variety Show House Band, Basingstoke Ladies' Choir, TheatreKids, Pork Chop Pictures, Basingstoke and Deane schools, Annie Wheeler, Basingstoke Amateur Theatrical Society, The Vyne School, Ace Hensworth, Basingstoke Gang Show and Salsa Basingstoke.
All proceeds from ticket sales for the evening, compered by David Allard, will go to the Mayor’s chosen charities.
The Mayor Cllr Roger Gardiner said: “The Basingstoke Variety Show line up is bursting with talent and it is set to be an outstanding night.
"I hope that people will get tickets and come along to support to not only everyone taking part but also my chosen charities; Basingstoke Young Carers, Basingstoke Dial-a-Ride and The Basingstoke Charities.”
