GET in touch with your inner Indiana Jones by delving into the pits at Basing House.
You will be shown some basic excavation techniques and supervised in use of the trowel and object recording.
The Dig Pits provide a safe and fun environment to have a go at archaeological excavation whatever your age.
This opportunity is offered today, July 31, and on August 5, 7, 12 and 13.
There are two slots available per day: 11.30am - 12.30pm & 2pm - 3pm.
Tours of the Basing House Dig are also available directly after the pit sessions.
