CHART-TOPPING acts are set to take to the stage at a summer festival being held in Hampshire this year.

Park Proms will be held at the Broadlands Estate in Romsey on August 27 and 28, with acts including James Morrison, Pixie Lott and The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.

The world-famous 78-piece orchestra will headline on the first night, conducted by Pete Harrison, playing a ‘Last night of the proms’ styled concert with songs from films including Harry Potter, James Bond, Star Wars and Superman.

Other guests taking to the stage on the first night are Aled Jones, Laura Wright and Escala.

On August 28 the audience will be treated to a night of classic British pop.

The festival is the first of its kind to take place in the Broadlands Estate, and there will be a variety of glamping sites nearby for those wanting to stay for the weekend.

In partnership with Hampshire Fare, the festival will also bring the best food and drink suppliers from the local area and surrounding counties.

Park Proms is assuring customers that if the event cannot take place on advice from the government, their ticket will be rolled over to a new date in 2022, or customers can receive a refund.
