Winchfield is a small Hamlet in the Hart District of Hampshire situated 1 mile south west of Hartley Wintney and 8 miles east of Basingstoke. It has its own train station with direct connections to both London Waterloo and Basingstoke.

Winchfield consists of a village hall, a Norman church, a 17th Century inn called the Winchfield Inn and a combination of old and new residential properties with some examples of 16th and 17th century houses. In 1992 Winchfield hosted its first music and entertainment festival, with St Marys, the community's historic Norman church as the festivals focal point. This was to be the start of a successful tradition of music festivals that have been held every two years since.
