CONGRATULATIONS: To Cliddesden Primary School for raising £2,500 at this year’s May Fair and to the St Leonard’s Quiz, which raised £940 for our lovely village church. Jolly well done to all helpers and participants.
BASINGSTOKE Astronomical Society: Will meet at the school, at 7pm, where Professor Andrew Coates, of the Mullard Space Science Centre, will give a talk entitled ‘Cassini-Huygens at Saturn and Titan’.
PLAY time: Cliddesden Players’ summer play is Murdered To Death, by Peter Gordon, a highly entertaining farce.
Performances are this weekend at 8pm. Doors and bar on Friday, from 7.30pm, and on Saturday, from 6pm, with optional barbecue at £3, and Pimms tent. Tickets cost £7 for adults, £5 for under-16s, from Angie on 475848.
