JUMBLE Sale: On Saturday, the Third Kempshott Guides will hold a sale in East Oakley Village Hall, in Hill Road, starting at 2pm.

OAKLEY Football Club Tournament: Takes place this weekend, so be prepared for a bit of traffic congestion along with all the fun of competition.

Spectators are invited to the Peter Houseman Playing Fields for this special Jubilee event, where, alongside the football, there will be BBQs, teas, sweets and other refreshments on offer.

MOBILE Library: On Monday, the library bus will be in Kennet Way from 10.45am to 1pm.

There will be no mobile library service on Monday, June 4, due to the bank holiday, but the bus will be back in Kennet Way, from 2pm to 4pm on Monday, June 11, and in Petersfield on Wednesday, June 13, from 11.20am to 11.50am.

OAKLEY Ramblers: Are planning a walk and picnic on Sunday, June 10, to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Walkers can tackle the whole diamond-shaped route of about 11-miles or take a choice of shorter options.
