CONSERVATION Group: Don’t let the soggy ground deter you from assisting the maintenance group in the old churchyard from 10am to 1pm on Saturday. Tools and refreshments provided.
PARISH meeting: The next council meeting takes place on Monday, at 7.30pm in the pavilion committee room, and local residents are invited to attend.
TEA for Sue: A wonderful Wednesday afternoon, hosted by Mark Offord in remembrance of his very popular late wife Sue, raised more than £900 for St Michael’s Hospice. Many people are hoping that this will become an annual event, and many thanks are due to all the cake bakers and helpers.
COFFEE Morning: In the Beddington Centre, in Riley Lane, on Saturday, May 12, from 11am to 1pm, in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK. Liz Gray always provides some excellent buys.
CARNIVAL: Kath’s tombola collection box is in the Linden Market, awaiting your donations for June 16.
