COMMUNITY Speedwatch Programme: Pamber Parish Council is exploring the possibility of establishing a Community Speedwatch Programme in co-operation with neighbouring parish councils and the local police force.
The scheme will require volunteers to monitor vehicle speeds in our villages.
Full training in using the equipment will be given and it is anticipated that volunteers will be required to give no more than a few hours of their time each month.
If you are interested in helping, come along to the Memorial Hall, Pamber Heath, on Monday, at 7pm, when the police will explain how the scheme will work. The parish council meetings are held in the small hall of the village hall, Pamber Heath.
