WELL done Dave: Friends and family gathered at the village hall on Wednesday night at a special reception to honour David Morris, who has retired after nearly 30 years as clerk to the parish council – milestone by anyone's reckoning!
David has seen many changes in Rotherwick places and faces during that period, and now will be able to enjoy some well deserved free time.
Chairman of the parish council, David Dibbin, made a moving speech on David's unobstrusive but vital contribution to our village life before the thank-you toast.
We wish David and Jean all the best, and are happy to know we’ll still see them around!
MAKE space for more Christmas presents: Do you have an old machine taking up room? An old lawnmower, motorbike, car or a caravan just wasting away?
