JOHN Feuillade: I was very sad to learn that John has died. He had lived in the village for a very long time and had entered into village life with great enthusiasm.
He was one of the founding members of Pamber Heath Short-mat Bowls Club until ill-health stopped him playing about 10 years ago.
He was, for many years, a CAB advisor and also was a National Trust guide at The Vyne.
He came to many of the theatre evenings that were held at the village hall. A very nice man and a great loss to the village.
‘LA JOLIE Ronde’: In September, at Pamber Heath Village Hall, a new course of French lessons for three to 11-year-olds will be starting.
These will be held on Saturday mornings. The teacher is Sandrine Spencer, who is fully qualified and CRB checked.
