PARISH council: The council will meet on Monday, at 7.30pm, in the Bramley Room at the village hall.

Everyone is welcome to attend. There is a ten-minute interval during which members of the public may raise matters with council-lors.

JAZZ and Cream Tea: A reminder that this fundraising event for lifeboats will be held on Sunday, in the garden of Trunkwell House, Beech Hill.

The Willink School jazz band will play and there will be a strawberry cream tea starting at 3pm. Inclusive tickets at £15 (children under ten years £5) are obtainable locally from Sibyl Wood on 01256 881182.

AUTUMN fair: Please make a diary note for a new event this year, when the Vyne invites you to an autumn fair on Sunday, September 27.

There will be free entry for everyone, music, traditional woodland trades, crafts and demonstrations. Children will have free activities and quizzes and there will be local produce stalls, a hog roast and lots more. If you would like more details, contact 01256 883858.

ST MICHAEL’S Hospice: The house-to-house envelope collection in Bramley ended on June 30 and the collectors would like to thank everyone who contributed.
