MEN still wanted by the Ridgeway Ravers over-55 Ladies Club: The club invites any gentleman who is at a loss for something to do on a Wednesday morning. New lady members also welcome.

BUCKSKIN Summer Fete: Is to be held on August 1, when there will be a barbecue at The Buckskin pub with a family disco in the evening.
Attractions include stalls, tombolas, raffles, indoor car-boot, a china smash stall and a ska cover band “One Step Too Late” with support band “Kicked In” in the evening at the Ridgeway Centre.

JUMBLE sale: This Saturday, at the Ridgeway Centre, starting at 1.30pm. Refreshments will be available plus a tombola. Please contact the centre on 01256 470665 (mornings) for updates or if you have some jumble.
BEWARE: Watch out for anyone offering to take your rubbish away for “free”.
These people must have a licence with the Environment Agency. You could end up paying a heavy fine if they take your rubbish then fly-tip it.
