OPEN garden: Terry and Brian Raisborough have had two successful open gardens this year through the National Garden Scheme (NGS).

They are delighted to report that they have sent a cheque for £336 to DeBRA, a charity for sufferers of Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a painful blistering of the skin. There is no effective treatment or cure for this terminal condition.

A sum of £848 was also sent to NGS.

The money that was sent to DeBRA was raised from the sale of teas and cakes. The Raisboroughs thank all the bakers who kindly donated cakes.
