EASTER services at St James' Church: There will be a Maundy Thursday Communion at 8pm tonight.

Tomorrow, at 2pm, is a service of The Passion According to St John.

On Easter Sunday, there will be a service of Holy Communion at 9am and parish communion at 10.30am.

TRANSFORMER: Did you miss the arrival of the first super transformer?

There is another opportunity when the second one arrives on March 30.

ANNUAL church meeting: Is being held on April 2, in Cross House, at 2pm.

OPEN access: After the trauma of the Sherfield Road closure during the work programme of Thames Water, the reopening went smoothly and to time. Traffic is now flowing normally.

BRING me sunshine: This title was brilliantly portrayed by Katie Baxter, demonstrating for Bramley and Romans Floral Society on March 7.

Large sunflowers, yellow carnations, yellow broom and golden gerberas in Katie's arrangements all added to the illusion of sunshine and warmth.

The society will next meet on April 4, for Sally Hardy's presentation entitled "Any Dream Will Do".

Tickets are £8.
