HAPPY Easter to you all: I'm not sure what services are going on at the local churches. However, you will be made most welcome at any of them.
WALK of Witness: Will take place tomorrow, Good Friday, starting at 10am, from the green opposite the swimming pool, then up Mulfords Hill and along Franklin Avenue, ending with a service at St Mary's Church at about 11am.
All are welcome, whether it be from the beginning or joining along the way - and you would be made most welcome, if you don't walk, at the service afterwards.
LIBRARY event: On Saturday, from 11am to 11.45am, is Special Easter Storytime and Craft Activities for ages seven and under.
EASTER Sunday: There is an Easter egg hunt in the grounds of Highclere Castle, from 2pm to 5pm. Proceeds will go to Naomi House.
Entry is £3 per child, and everyone is guaranteed to get a chocolate goody bag.
Full details are available from www.highclerecastle.co.uk/eastereggdetails.htm.
JUMBLE sale: On Saturday, April 12, in the Den, there will be a jumble sale, starting at 1.30pm, in aid of the heart ward at Basingstoke hospital.
Jumble can be taken along from 11am on the day.
EVENTS at the community centre: On April 24, there is a trip to Denbies Wine Estate, with the coach leaving at 9am.
The cost is £22 and includes coach, admission, tasting, train tour and cinema experience.
