PAINTING party this Saturday, to decorate inside the Village Hall and make other improvements from 10am. Just turn and help, it is our hall and now needs our help. Further party on October 27, also from 10am. Have you thought whether you might like to sponsor a new chair for the hall? The cost is £35 each and you can have a plaque

on your chair…..not known if you can sit on your own chair at all events!

SERVICE of Memories on Sunday, 28 October at 3pm in the Parish Church. This service will remember those from our village and many other friends from further afield who we have lost this year and also in previous years. As long as we have a memory of a loved one, they will never be forgotten.

BONFIRE night is Saturday, 3 November. Wood collection on October 21, start collecting now! No old sheds, fences, rotten wood or hedge cuttings. The association would appreciate help in all ways particularly if you have a trailer that could be used or a 4x4 vehicle. Contact Chris 9700702 if you can help. Sorry to repeat this but the more help the easier for all.
