LAST Sunday’s Festival of Choirs saw Tadley Singers and Vocal Point's 11 to 19-year-olds, also from Tadley, taking part and what a wonderful sound they all made. A brilliant evening it was.
THIS Saturday at the Community Centre in Newchurch Road it is cinema night. The film is The Greatest Showman and entry is £4.50 members and £5.50 for non members. Doors open at 6.30pm film starts at 7pm. Refreshments available.
MACMILLAN coffee mornings last Friday saw several including a breakfast. I am pleased to say that there is a further coffee morning at The Salvation Army Hall, in Mulfords Hill, on Friday, 19 October from 10am to noon. Cakes, preserves, books and gifts all for sale.
HARVEST Festival service on Sunday, 7 October at St Mary’s Church from 10.30am. Please take non-perishables to the service, donations will go to Basingstoke Food Bank. Everyone is welcome.
