BASINGSTOKE Young Carers supports and empowers young carers and their families living in the Basingstoke and Deane area.

The charity offers the chance for the young carers aged 8 to 18 to take a break from their caring responsibilities by providing three respite youth clubs full of fun filled activities peer to peer support and residentials and trips.

It also offers information, support and guidance to the young carers and their families. The charity works in partnership with schools, colleges, local council departments, doctors and many more, to ensure that young carers are identified and supported.

The aim is to better identify young carers and provide them with support to develop emotionally and physically, as well as to take full advantage of opportunities for educational achievement and life success.

Basingstoke Young Carers undertakes a whole family approach to ensure the needs of the family are also being met.
