WALK of Witness: Tomorrow, the Walk of Witness starts at St Michael’s Church, Bishopswood Road, 9.15am for a 9.30am start, opening with Bible readings, hymn and prayer. Please wear something red.
The cross is then carried down Franklin Avenue to Sainsbury’s car park, and then to the grass opposite the swimming pool and then onto Main Road Methodist Church for a service at 11am. All are welcome to attend both the walk and the service.
GOOD Friday meeting: The Salvation Army is having a Good Friday meeting at the Salvation Army church, opposite the Esso Garage, at 6pm. The service will be led by Captain Teresa Everett.
COMMUNITY centre events: There is an indoor car boot and table-top sale on Saturday, from 10am to noon. Then in the evening, at 7pm, there is a film being shown on the big screen What We Did on Our Holiday. On Wednesday, at 2pm, there is another film How To Train Your Dragon 2 it’s a PG for the younger members.
