ANAEROBIC digester: Disappointing result for residents of Ellisfield and surrounding villages, who had campaigned against the anaerobic digester, in Bushywarren Lane, being granted planning permission to increase the number of lorries delivering food waste to the plant. Despite considerable opposition, local resistance was overridden by the narrowest of margins at last Wednesday’s meeting of Hampshire’s Regulatory Committee.
