BRAMLEY Knitting Circle: Your local Knitting Circle is running out of wool and is appealing for double knitting wool preferably in bright colours, even small amounts help as they can be made up into striped garments or blankets.
Everything goes to one of the three charities the group works for. Please leave donations of wool at “Vectis”, Silchester Road, or call me and I will collect.
Membership numbers have now improved since the recruiting appeal and, at Dusty’s, on February 24, there were 17 lots of needles clicking away. Welcome to all newcomers. Contact 01256 881296.
“SEAGULLS and Flamingos”: Kathryn Goddard demonstrated for Bramley and Romans Floral Society yesterday, on the theme “Seagulls and Flamingos”.
The annual fee is £35 but just come for a trial visit for £5.50, and if you join later this will be refunded. Contact 01256 881420.
BRAMLEY Show: A reminder, collect your seed potatoes from 9 Longbridge Road, for the potato competition. Watch next week for more details. Contact 01256 881691.
