WHAT Wine Quiz: The quiz, which was held at the community centre last Saturday was a great success. Eleven teams took part, and the eventual winners were the team calling themselves The Red Noses.
The quiz was entertainingly compered by community association chairman Stuart Coleman, and the judges were Maria Miller MP, Jason Elton, community ambassador at Sainsbury’s, and me. It was huge fun and a great community night out, many thanks to the organisers.
PARKING on Woodbury Road: Residents have complained about parents/carers parking on the grass verge by the corner of Danebury/Woodbury Road and the chicane.
This is not a parking area and the consequence is the verge being churned up and mud driven onto the road. Councillors have asked both borough and county officers to come up with a solution, and police are aware.
CAR thefts: Police are warning that there has been a spate of thefts from vehicles and are urging local residents to ensure that cars are locked and no valuables are left in the car.
