LITTER pick: Our regular monthly litter pick takes place on Sunday, at 10am, meeting at the junction of Kempshott Lane and Fuzzy Drove.
The litter pick has been going for many years now and a group of volunteer Kempshott residents assemble at a pre-arranged place once a month to clear that area.
This can be very rewarding and interesting. Kind words of encouragement and passing the time of day with ‘passers by’ as well as an opportunity to have a good natter keeps the group going. The interesting things that have been found over the years can also trigger the imagination!
If you would like to join this group, just turn up and get stuck in!
TEA@3: On Saturday, Alan and Karen, from 34 Pitman Close, will be holding their annual fundraiser in aid of St Michael’s Hospice.
Tea@3 will take place at their home at 2.30pm. Refreshments will be available, as well as a raffle and cake sale. Please go along and support this good cause.
