A BIG well done: To the local performers who appeared in the BAOS Limelight production of Fame Junior last weekend. The show was a great success, and congratulations must also go to all those who worked behind the scenes.
VANDALISM: Hatch Warren Infant School, in Gershwin Road, was subjected to an attack by vandals during the Easter holidays. If anyone noticed anything or has anything to report, please contact the police.
ROUNDABOUT concerns: Residents and members of the digester liaison panel have expressed fears that the roundabout close to the motorway bridge could be the scene of an accident. The adjacent steep grass slope is a popular play area for children, but the roundabout is now more heavily used by large vehicles because of the digester. I’ve met with county highways staff, who are exploring ways to make this area safer.
